When this Fortune 500 company wanted to create a companion app for its new line of baby products, it hired me as the project's art director and product designer.
This app provides informative and recreational parenting content (such as articles, activities, and songs) created by field experts, for babies and toddlers. The brief was that it should appeal to the tech-savvy millennial moms of Hong Kong while strictly following the product's brand guidelines.
My approach was to make it clean, positive, parent-focused, and avoid going the expected route of a childish-looking app. The content is curated based on the user's child's age, and discoverability is the soul of this app - there is always something new and exciting to tap on, wherever you are.
